This is a vintage EMPTY (cardboard) box that originally held tea sachets — Hampton Gardens apricot Ceylon tea made by the Brownlow Company.
The box is in the shape of an English cottage with a pitched roof. Beautifully (full color) illustrated on all sides depicting the exterior of a cottage with a beautiful English/European style garden.
Box top (roof) opens and closes with a cardboard “tongue” insert. Narrow rolled thread forms a delicate handle.
Box measurements are 5” high to roof point, 3 1/4” long, 2.5” wide.
